Wherever you are summer-ing this year, there are always a few ever present matters regarding body and health that people wonder about - sunscreen (see an earlier post on that), weight management (a complex subject in itself), and things like taking care of your hair while enjoying your pool/beach days.

Here's a very simple yet super effective life hack on how to protect your hair from chlorine damage and getting dried out because of constant exposure to sea salts.
Hair is essentially a sponge in terms of how it interacts with the environment, so it absorbs everything from liquid to gas form fairly quickly.
Instead of trying many expensive (and toxic!) oils, conditioners, sprays that are abundant on today's market, try this - before going swimming in the pool or on the sea, wet your hair with clean mineral water (bottled), and you can even add a few drops of your favourite essential oil or coconut oil.

Your hair, just like a sponge, will absorb all it can fit in and will be 'full' -so when you get into the water, be it chlorine, or salt - will have no effect on your hair simply because it will not penetrate it.
Try it and you'll see that that's pretty much all the care you need to give your hair on an active beach vacation!
